what a delightful little show. i’m so glad apple is paying for scifi.
murderbot is about a security android who hacked its own governor module and now just wants to watch soap operas and not deal with humans. but humans keep needing saving, and murderbot keeps reluctantly saving them.
the internal monologue is perfect. every “ugh, humans” lands. the action is solid. the found family stuff sneaks up on you.
already renewed for season 2. apple keeps greenlighting weird sci-fi and i keep watching it.
