The Devil in the White City

finally read this after it’s been on my list for years. the 1893 chicago world’s fair and the serial killer who built a murder hotel nearby. spent the whole time reading wikipedia going “is this true??” (mostly yes, with some larson flourishes). the architecture stuff is more interesting than the murder stuff, which is not what i expected.
